Dr. Chi Izeogu is board-certified in pain medicine by the American Board of Anesthesiology. He is a pain management specialist with Premier Health Group.
Dr. Izeogu has extensive experience in treating and managing complex pain conditions. As a former college soccer player, he has experienced injuries causing pain and understands on a personal level that medical problems are scary, overwhelming, stressful and frustrating. This is why he is committed to educating his patients on their options and providing them with effective, personalized care.
Dr. Izeogu’s patient care philosophy is to be personally involved in the treatments for each individual. He provides a comprehensive plan and approach based on each patient’s unique lifestyle and healthcare goals. He believes in a holistic approach to care, utilizing both traditional and newly developed pain treatments along with minimally invasive procedures to achieve the best results.
Dr. Izeogu received his medical degree from the University of Alabama, Birmingham, Doctor of Medicine. His residency in Anesthesiology was done at State University of New York, Downstate Medical Center. This was followed by a fellowship in Pain Management at Saint Luke’s-Roosevelt Hospital Center.
In his spare time, Dr. Izeogu enjoys spending time with his wife and three children. His interests include history, soccer, finance and trading.
